I can't believe my last piece was completed seven years ago! I've missed being at the easel and I am very excited to be getting back to it! But I must confess, I'm a little nervous and hoping it's like riding a bicycle! I've got a brand new work started. Well, actually, I started it twice, since it took one sheet of paper to warm up with. I'm starting with something a bit less complex. And, of course, it's a horse. It's showing promise and it's hard to budget my part-time, time when I'm anxious to see it come to life! I typically would show work in progress, but I think I'm just going to 'spring' this one at the end. While I work, I will be staying connected online. Look for frequent blog posts along with facebook and twitter updates. I'm trying out linkedin as well, so if you are on there, look me up! The hardest part of getting back to business won't be the drawing part. It's going to be making connections and getting word out! So please feel free to share any of my links! Thank you! My studio space is also a work in progress.
Got colors picked out and can't wait to paint!
