Drawing Fundamentals for Moms, 11-11:55 AM (M)
You will be introduced to the basic materials, tools, and mechanics of drawing. This foundation course emphasizes training both the hand and the eye through a variety of exercises and sketching studies. Along with the above mentioned instruction, lessons will be taught on intuitive gesture/perspective, proportion, light/shade, perspective, other drawing methods, and composition. My goal for each student is to give them a strong base from which they can gain confidence and excel in whatever medium in which they may choose to continue. You will work at an easel and will draw from various still-life arrangements. There will be 8 classes with the course will culminate with an art show where you can display your art for family and friends. $45 + $15 for student kit yours to keep.
