Students will use tempera and watercolor paints to learn the
basics of color theory. This will include the kinds of colors (primary,
secondary, complimentary, etc), their characteristics, and their
relationships to each other, as well as how to use that knowledge to
make their art stand out. They will also learn about different artists
each class and how they use(d) color in their own artwork. The course
is 8 classes long and will culminate with an art show where students can
display their art for family and friends.
