Colored Pencil Artist
I am a self-taught artist from north-central Idaho. I've been drawing since I was big enough to hold a pencil and about 25 years ago I began using colored pencil, which I love! Life has been very full over the years with some significant life events making finding time to work at the easel challenging. However, with the nest now a little emptier, we have moved into a cozy little place in town. We have converted the old garage into a studio and, for the first time, not only do I have my own space, but I have space enough to teach in-house!
Along with thoroughly enjoying making my own art, teaching is a joy and delight! Over the years, I have taught private lessons, in public school, and community classes (grade-school children as young as 6 through HS students), as well as at our homeschool co-op. I love helping young people gain confidence (and have a whole lot of fun) through exploring art! Check out my class page for more info!
